Happy 2010!

Firstly, belated Happy New Year! Hope it's a great year for you all :) Sorry for the late post, I meant to jump on here sooner but heavy snowfall this year presented new tasks to keep me occupied! Christmas was busy busy, I found myself working on Christmas Eve until 7pm, something I never do as I like to keep that day for last minute Christmas errands for friends and family...this was moved to after Christmas where we found ourselves out the house more than in! Kept us out of trouble and it meant that once things had calmed down we had a house full of niceties to munch through and unwrap :) I'm hoping to put some new bits onto Etsy soon too, I've got notebooks and bags in the pipeline, some valentines cards, and I'm working on a little desk pet just for fun :) here's a quick pic!

Warming winter treasury

Was feeling wintry and a bit festive today, having opened a box of Christmas Tea and put on a clove and mandarin oil burner. Tasting hot cinnamon, cloves and spices, I decided to stroll through Etsy for some great pressies when I found this gorgeous treasury by 3dots- made me feel all warm and cosy on such a cold day! Hope it warms you all up too! x

Thankyou Etsy!

Great day on Thursday 19th - I made my first Etsy Sale! :D Felt amazing all day! Seeing the convo 'do you have any more sets of these gift tags?' gave me butterflies, thankyou polkadotsandblooms! Managed to get everything printed and sorted in time for the post office (who know me by name already haha), sent a thankyou note and a freebie with the gift tags all packaged up neat and delicious :) And, my buyer was very happy too - thankyou for such a lovely comment! A successful day all round, hope to have a few more too! x

Printing frenzy

I'm writing whilst eating humble pie for not blogging sooner! My printer decided to die on me mid print run, which resulted in a desperate flee around looking for a replacement to get my order out. Thankfully now printer is fixed and seems to be happy, I'm hoping to get some of those christmas cards up on etsy soon as possible to be able to post in time for Christmas. Here's a sneaky peaky... m x

Happy Halloween!

It's been a busy few weeks, hence the later than expected blogpost! Halloween has arrived and I've seen a few little'uns floating about in witches and ghosts costumes :) I remember this time last year John and I were all dressed up for a party, and ended up giving some trick-or-treaters a fright! We were just about to go out when John answered the door...filling the doorway as a huge Hulk in green and black- the kids screamed and burst into giggles! They weren't expecting that treat when they rang the bell ;) Hope you're all feeling spooky and have a fantastic Halloween!

Autumnal Friday treasury

Hello all! It's fresh and sunny up here on the north coast, and I was looking for a treasury that captured the feel of the beach this morning :) This treasury from glasfaden feels light, cool and fresh with a bit of autumn thrown in, hope you like! I think its gorgeous!

New gift tags on Etsy

This weekend seemed to disappear, I'm sure I was supposed to have a quiet Sunday too! I've just posted some new tags onto Etsy, take a look :) Doing some coloured work too, which I hope to be posting soon! Had a really exciting moment when my new screen printing stuff arrived in the post today, I can't wait to get going again on my textiles pieces, they will also be featuring on Etsy, hot off the press :) I'll keep you posted! x
